ORDERING & CUSTOMIZATION

How do I personalize my card?

When you order your card, you’ll have the chance during checkout to enter your personalized message in the message field, as well as a “from” field. All we ask is that you keep your message to a maximum of 60 words so it can easily fit on our standard stationary.

Can I write my own message inside?

Each of our cards are personalized, handwritten, and sent on your behalf. We hand write your card for you based on the message you input, sign your name (or the name of the desired sender), and drop it in the mail on your behalf.

Can I send the card directly to the recipient?

Yes! P&P sends your personalized card on your behalf to your desired recipient. In the checkout process, you’ll have the opportunity to enter your desired message text, “from” name, and the mailing address for your note.

Can I order a blank card to send myself?

When you order a personalized note, we hand write it for you based on the message you input, sign your name (or the name of the desired sender), and drop it in the mail on your behalf. In future, you’ll be able to order your own cards!

Can I schedule a card to be mailed on a specific date?

To keep shipping free to you, and to align with the nostalgic feeling of receiving an impromptu postcard in the mail, we use standard USPS postage. Because of that, we can’t guarantee card delivery on a specific day or date.

Can I return or exchange a card?

Since our cards are hand written and personalized for your particular recipient, we don’t offer returning a card. You can let us know within 24 hours of ordering the card if you’d like to cancel it, but otherwise it will have already been hand written and mailed.

I made a mistake on my order. Can I change it after purchase?

You have 24 hours after purchase to cancel or make changes to your order. As long as it’s within that window you can request a modification to your order by filling out the Contact Us form on our website.

Shipping & Delivery

How long will it take for my card to arrive?

To keep shipping free to you, and to align with the nostalgic feeling of receiving an impromptu postcard in the mail, P&P sends cards with standard USPS postage. Depending on the recipient address, you can generally expect your card to arrive within 7-10 days of mailing (dependent on USPS).

How long does it take for my card to be mailed after I place the order?

Since each card is handwritten, we fulfill card orders within 3 days of order receipt. You can expect your card to be mailed within 3 days of placing your order.

How far in advance should I place my order?

Given our 3 day fulfillment cycle, and average delivery times from USPS, you can usually expect your card to arrive within 7-10 business days of placing your order.

Do you ship internationally?

We do not currently ship internationally. We support standard postage within the continental US.

Can I track my order?

To keep shipping free to you, and to align with the nostalgic feel of receiving an impromptu postcard in the mail, cards get sent with standard USPS postage, so we can’t offer tracking on card orders.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

We don’t offer expedited shipping right now, since we leverage standard USPS postage to keep shipping free and to align with the nostalgic feel of receiving an impromptu postcard in the mail.

What happens if my card gets lost in the mail?

If your recipient never receives the card, reach out to us via the Contact Us form on our website and provide your order number. But check with your recipient first! People often don’t check their mailbox everyday, especially if you are using an alternative address like a PO box. But if you've confirmed after several days they still haven't received it, follow up with us and we will make it right.

What should I do if my card arrives damaged?

If your card arrives damaged, reach out to us via the Contact Us form on our website and provide your order number and details of the issue. We want to make it right! 

Pricing & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit card, Venmo, or PayPal through our website.

Is shipping included in the price?

Yes! To keep shipping free to you, and to make your personalized note feel nostalgic like receiving an impromptu postcard in the mail, we use standard USPS postage.

Do you offer discounts for bulk or corporate orders?

Since each of our products are personalized and handwritten, we don’t currently offer bulk orders or discounts. However, in future we will offer the ability to order packs of our unique cards.

Sustainability & Materials

What kind of paper and materials do you use?

At P&P, we use high-quality, recycled signature cardstock paper with premium envelopes.

Are your cards eco-friendly or recyclable?

Yes, P&P makes our stationary and paper products out of recycled paper, making it eco-friendly and recyclable.

Where do the pennies come from?

Given the penny is no longer being minted, we source our pennies from various places like local banks, vintage currency exchanges, and in some cases even organizations trying to get rid of and recycle small coins.

Gifting & Special Orders

Can I send multiple cards to different people in one order?

You can definitely send multiple cards, but we request that place separate orders for each card so we can be sure to capture your individualized messages to the proper recipients. Placing separate orders won't cost anything additional, since you're not paying for shipping.

Do you offer gift sets or bundles?

Since our product is personalized and handwritten, we don’t currently offer gift sets or bundles. However, in future we will offer the ability to order a pack of our unique cards, and these can be bought in bundles.

Can I include a gift message if I’m sending multiple cards?

Right now we only support the ability to include your personalized card message with each order. We recommend including a gift message, if applicable, directly in your card message if you’re wanting to have it accompany another gift you’re sending.
